The Haven is a completely remodeled 2,400 sq. ft. 4 bedroom, 2 bath walkout ranch home on beautiful Lake Louise close to downtown Alexandria, Minnesota. This home sleeps 11 including a small child (1 king bed, 2 queen beds, 2 twin beds, a queen sleeper sofa and a portable crib.)
Main Level
The main level of this waterfront home features the kitchen and dining area, living room with bar, two bedrooms and a bathroom. Throughout the main level, the floors are wood with large and small area rugs. The living and dining areas are open and accessible.
- Living Room
The living room has magnificent views of the lake, plenty of furniture, a television, a wet bar with an under counter beverage refrigerator and icemaker.
- Kitchen
The kitchen is large and open to the living room with views to the lake. A center island separates the kitchen and living room. Plentiful granite counters are beautiful and durable. The kitchen is finished with all your favorite appliances: gas range with an electric oven, refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher, compactor, microwave, and a stainless steel double sink with garbage disposal.
This gourmet kitchen is stocked with pots and pans, utensils, platters, dishes, silverware, glassware, etc. for large and small groups. A toaster, mixer, blender, coffeemaker, microwave and spice rack are also provided. A second refrigerator is available on the walkout level.
- Dining Area
The dining table seats 10 with ease as well as a high chair for a little one.
- Bedrooms
The main floor bedrooms, one with a king bed and one with a queen bed, are adjacent to a full, updated bathroom with tub and shower and a ceramic tiled floor.
- Balcony Deck & Lake Access
Two large patio doors open onto a large balcony or leave the doors open to enjoy the summer time breezes cooled by the lake. Of course, you can also take the steps down from the balcony to a large patio area with charcoal grills. This patio will also lead you to the lake or the horse shoe pit or swing set.
Walkout Level
The walkout level has ceramic tiled floors throughout.
Family Room with Fireplace
- Family Room
The family room features a gas fireplace (with remote control), television, kitchenette with a second full-sized refrigerator, and includes a queen sleeper sofa and other furniture. Two double patio doors lead to a lakeside patio and the lake.
- Bedrooms & Bath
Two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with twin beds and a portable crib, are located on this level. The newly remodeled, ceramic tiled bathroom with shower is adjacent to the bedrooms.
- Laundry Room
A laundry room with washer, dryer, iron and ironing board are provided.

With decks lakeside, by the playground, by the grills or on the balcony, you have plenty of spaces to take your morning coffee and enjoy watching the sunrise or waterfowl skimming over the lake. Large patios with plentiful outdoor furniture, a charcoal grill, a swing set and a fire pit frame the lakeside of the house and lead to the lake and docks.
- Lake Louise — Pontoon with Motor & Paddleboat Included!
The Haven is located on Lake Louise, a calm approximately 300 acre lake with depths up to 33 feet. Bring your swimsuits! Lake Louise is a great swimming as well as fishing lake.
Fish for Northerns, Crappies, Walleyes and Sunfish from the docks or board the paddleboat or pontoon (included in rental fees) for a lake excursion. Life vests are a must, so adult life vests are available, but to insure proper fit, please bring along life vests for your children. According to state law, all children under ten must wear a life vest at all times on the water. Adults must have one as well and, of course, wearing it is also recommended.
